Robert M. Shuford

Robert is a Partner at Clovis Point Point. Before co-founding Clovis Point in 2014, Robert served as a managing director on the lower middle market team of Main Street Capital Corporation, where he was employed in various roles since January 2006. At Main Street, Robert led one of four investment teams in the lower middle-market managing the entire deal life cycle.

Previously, Robert was a senior associate of Avail Consulting, LLC in the Financial Advisory Services Group. While at Avail, Robert was actively involved in the valuation of closely held stock, the performance of acquisition due diligence and the valuation of intangible assets for a number of clients in a variety of industries.

Robert is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Houston. He received his BBA in Finance from Baylor University. Robert is the 2020 President of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and also serves on the board. He serves on the boards of the ADaMS Association, which benefits research for Alzheimer’s, dementia and multiple sclerosis; and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he most recently served as a division chairman of the GateKeepers committee and as a member of the Parade Committee.
